It didn t fit precisely so i had to go back and forth from the bench to the jigsaw until the board fit to the cast iron like a glove. For this i laid the back of the bench on some packing paper and traced out the design with a pencil. We start by professionally sand blasting them to remove the old paint and rust.

Everything else we were able to salv. Next your new bench ends are given three layers of powder coating which gives a deep and lustrous finish. The old cast iron was still in pretty good shape.
